I don’t think they should comply. There is no legal standing for it because people’s right to privacy would have to be violated before they could even collect the information needed to enforce it. Then they will move the goalposts further and say, projects will need to start excluding people that are below a certain age in a specific area. All requiring data collection tools that are far beyond Orwellian.

You were negatively criticizing the project for their lack of response. Sometimes just being business as usual is enough without saying anything. If they don’t change what they are doing, isn’t that really just the same thing and not complying?

I am a free speech absolutist, so you won’t get any disagreement from me. It’s also important to pick your battles. The entire premise of the age verification is predicated on violating people’s rights to privacy, speech, and property. Therefore, you could rightly argue it doesn’t warrant a response. It is probably just a topic to keep the monetization flowing on the Internet train wreck.

At first glance you act stoic then boom “You probably came here to destroy this community. It’s not going to happen.” WTF. I strongly disagree with @DD15 on some subiect but I have never attaked him personally. I may have been sarcastic towards some of his wiews he returned the favour, and that is ok. He have every right to do so, and he is a decent guy. Same goes with @vannax he is a decent likeable guy as @DD15 is.

I wouldn’t say that. I only had 8 local keystone cops in an Atlanta point 16 guns at me one morning at 5 am because the warehouse manager called them and screamed about how I was shooting up the place with a gun that didn’t exist. Why? Because I was the 4th company driver that week to follow the wrong directions provided by the warehouse and it was only Thursday. My opinion is most people in and around Atlanta are fully insane. Thankfully a year later when I got brake checked on I-75 (Atlanta north side I-285 interchange), the state patrol officer had a Polish last name that the locals couldn’t pronounce without a dictionary, slide rule, and T-square. Plus he spoke with an Iowa accent (he was so poor that couldn’t afford one) so nobody around could understand him except for myself.

It’s wild - you say something that someone is bound to disagree with, not even attacking them personally with names and they call it a ‘micro-aggression’.
We need to get back to a world where people with disagreements can have disputations without one side trying to cancel the other.
