Trying to get an ISO but no ISO exists?

Hello,

  • OpenMandriva Lx version:
    OMLx 5.0 Plasma AMD CPU

  • Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):
    N/A

  • Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):
I followed the directions for getting the ISO. I chose the link for the build listed above.
The iso is displayed however to the right where the actual link to an ISO exists there is nothing.
Is this item not in existance or what?

  • Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):

Hardware not relevant since I have nothing to install.

Try this link.

Edit that is from here.

The link you clicked on is indeed empty. Looking into that.

5.0 plasma x86_64
build ID 3531
https://abf.openmandriva.org/platforms/5.0/products/152/product_build_lists/3531

He was asking for the AMD CPU iso. It should be there but it isn’t.

Ah, I had overlooked that…
@DarcSceptor1 might also want to download the ROME iso and switch backward at time of 6.0 release.
Also, Rock is Plasma5 atm…

For now I downloaded the x86 version.
The last time I tried installing this I had an issue with the install. I believe that I found a workaround. I ran two other ISO’s that failed and got them to work. Excited to give this a try and have it work. This looks like a great build on the surface and after reading about the shit going on with other distros I look forward to being here.

Okay I ran into an issue.
When I burned the ISO I changed the name of the ISO itself. But for whatever reason the install wants the label to be very specific.

So I went out to download the ISO again. The AMD ISO is populated but ALL OF THE ISO links for all builds fails to initiate a download.

I WAS able to download the default from SourceForge.

Pretty weird, I managed to initiate many ".iso"downloads from the source forge’s page, I was able to boot some via usb stick (balena etcher).

How are you trying to download? And from where are you trying to download? Details matter in problem solving. For future if user is using Linux this might help with downloading isos from ABF:

Any help with testing would be appreciated whether one is technically proficient or a very non-technical user. The more people and more hardware we can get involved the better we can make OMLx releases and packaging. We do a lot of testing in VM’s as well. Developers tend to use Qemu, most user level testers use VirtualBox.

Some hopefully helpful suggestions:
