Where are the lights? You forgot the stinkin’ lights!

Check out that perfect green lawn!

The first thing that comes to mind is Wile E. Coyote and his relatives crashing into that cactus (cacti?) while wearing their Santa hats while chasing the Road Runner.

For those not as well travelled as myself, yes, coyotes do chases roadrunners. They catch roadrunners too. You would be surprised by what roadrunners eat. Those birds can be mean to their food. Amazing what you can learn from the front seat of an 80,000 pound guided missile.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I need to visit Arizona and do some exploring, now that I am retired and have four-wheel drive.

I think I’ve got some green paint in the garage :desert:

Christmas in Franklin Park, IL facing southeast, the CPKC light show, west of the junction with the CN and the IHB:

The train was moving. Therefore, blurred.

Awesome.

Back when I was working at BNL my 2 immediate supervisors (and mentors) were train nuts. We laid track and had a complete railroad (albeit a simple one) running above the door and around their office on shelves and bookcases.

{ { sigh } } it’s amazing how productive one can be when well bribed with pizza and beer. Fun times.

Productivity for no pay depends on the pizza and beer. Chicago tavern style, better known as Milwaukee style pizza. The beer must be in bottles, not cans.

I really can’t go more than six miles in any direction, on average, without encountering railroad tracks. Finding a Christmas train is a fairly easy task if one knows where to look for the timetables.
