Just did a test install of 4412 ROME XFCE. A very minimal install. Installed with Ventoy. The installer worked as intended. I had the installer wipe the SSD and then start installing. Out of the box, so to speak, the Super key doesn’t open the application menu on the taskbar. The user has to configure this if desired. An XFCE default? Probably.
