Hello,
Requirements:
I have Searched the forum for my issue and found nothing related or helpful
I have checked the Resources category (Resources Index)
I have reviewed the Wiki for relevant information
I have read the the Release Notes and Errata
OpenMandriva Lx version:6 (Rock)
Desktop environment: KDE
System:
KVM/Qemu VM
Ram: 16GB
Cores: 8
Inixi: OM-Zen-Plasma-AMD-sysinfo.txt (5.6 KB)
If you look at the below screenshot, you can see that the OM Welcome Screen and DNF Drake (Top Left & Bottom Right) don’t follow the system font settings. Going through the inixi report (Screen-1 and Monitor-1) it also looks like the scaling didn’t take (?).
Some of this I’m sure is an artifact of running in a VM. But I’m not sure I didn’t miss something either. And since this is my first time using KDE (one of the main reasons I wanted to switch from Mint) I’m not exactly sure where to look. Obviously the Display and the Fonts app as well in system settings.
After searching around for a couple hours I still can’t nail it down. And no, I haven’t yet gone to the terminal. I wanted to figure this out from a DE perspective.
Any ideas where to look?
Also, just on a lark, I tried Libreoffice. And it isn’t changing it’s themes either. No idea if it’s related.
PS: Holy
that AMD spin is fast. I noticed it between the 2 VMs I have (one amd the other the intel spin) and then to be sure I just booted into a live flash drive (one for each spin). Booting off a usb 3.0 (5gbs) with the amd spin was faster than booting my mint cinnamon install off the main NVME drive (ID-1: /dev/nvme0n1 vendor: Seagate model: FireCuda 530 size: 1.82 TiB speed: 63.2 Gb/s lanes temp: 41.9 C). I used the same flash drive too. You folks get the ![]()
