Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):
I have two screen (Integrated and external Samsung by HDMI cable).
In Wayland the text copied from address bar in firefox (of external monitor) is not correcly pasted to the integrated monitor.
It seems that clipboard is not common betweeen two screen.
Can Anybody verify that?
(With X11 taht does not occour)
This seems to be related to the same GitHub issue linked by rugyada above me. I hooked to an external monitor and re-enabled the clipboard widget. I can confirm it affects external monitors too. After disabling the widget and system tray entry, I have no issues copying/pasting from and to an external monitor.
Widgets can’t be disabled, only removed from the panel. However the system tray clipboard can be disabled, that’s the one most users have since it’s enabled by default and the most likely to be causing issues. Simply disable it, then you should no longer be having a problem copying/pasting.
I have found that it copies… sometimes. In my case I open Konsole and attempt to copy the contents of the terminal using the Copy UI button, Right Clicking the selected text, or using Ctrl + Shift + C. I will randomly see it in my Clipboard History.
I could get it to work if and only if I cleared the GUI clipboard application. Once it had an entry, that was the only thing that would paste. I could not get it to hold more than one entry. Maybe it was just me though.
