EFI is a UEFI error. I do miss the days of the BIOS. Things were simpler then.
@GarrettJ37 if you see any error when installing, stop and take a screen-shot of the error and post that here. OR follow the instructions here to install from cli which will also create a calamares-installation-log.txt which you can post in this forum thread.

I went in to the BIOS and found an additional setting regarding the TPM. This setting was to set it as visible or hidden to the OS. I changed this to hidden, and then restarted. When I booted the live image. I saw no error, and when I installed OM again permanent, I saw no error.
I will consider my issue solved for now, but I will update if I have further issues.
