Hello,

I been trying to move from Garuda Linux to OpenMandriva, trying to install packages that I used on Garuda, so I have been trying to copy things from websites using brave and Chromium browsers to enter into the terminal, like there is a linux version of reshade I wanted to install thats not in the “find additional applications” section when I search , but right clicking copy on the highlighted text and CTRL+C on the highlighted text isn’t working at all as well as pressing CTRL+V doesn’t do anything right clicking and pasting doesn’t do anything or hitting the paste button. Why isn’t it copying anything?, is there a setting somewhere that im missing?

I heard it might be a wayland issue, I like wayland and was using it on Garuda Linux and could copy and paste fine though… if it is a setting somewhere I can’t find it.

There is a bug somewhere and I had hoped the new Plasma 6.3.1 would have fixed it, but it did not.

Workaround is to disable the clipboard in the notifications.

Right Click the arrow for the hidden system tray icons
Click Configure System Tray
Click Entries
Scroll down to Clipboard and select Disabled

I actually did search for this but I searched for “copy and paste not working” …lol …it never brought up that one you linked to, didn’t think to alter the search phrase, so thanks.
