I was researching XLibre and came across this recent thread about a XLibre developer who was kicked out of the XLibre team and left Artix Linux over it along with the resulting mess:

So much drama, so little time.
I already brought attention to it in another thread and it sounds like it’s more Artix’s problem than XLibre’s problem.
I wonder. It sounds like they had 4 members making up the XLibre team. By losing one of those members, they lost 25% of their workforce.
The reason I brought it up was that I was surprised the team was so small. I am told X11 is a monster and tweaking a part of it in one place can break it on other places. It kind of sounds like it slowly became the systemd version of a windowing system over the years.
