Wirt manager and kde menus do not get along

Hello,

  • **OpenMandriva Lx version:5 Rock

  • Desktop environment (KDE, ):

  • Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):
    I’ve installed virtmanager.noarch and qemu
but… its does not show in kde menu, yet if I start virt-manager from console it starts normaly.
I know there is qt version of virt manager gui but it is horrible to use

Is there a way to add this program to kde. I use kde because it is the default desktop on OM.
Most of the time is great as long as you want to use some non kde application then it gets moodie.

Sometimes apps that get installed don’t get updated to the menu right away (sometimes not at all). You could try to log out and back in, or Right click on the menu icon and choose Edit Applications. When the menu editor comes up, click Edit → Restore to System Menu. That should force it to show up.
