I updated OM with February 2026 upgrades and frequently Wi-fi diisconnects, often with this
asking for the correct password. But the latter is correctly saved.
Spontaneously, Wi-Fi reconnects, then after a while, disconnects again. An so on.
Nothing similar happened with the previous release.
Hi! I had this issue on Fedora 43 KDE Plasma 6 and OpenMandriva Cooker xLibre Plasma 6. I have three different wifi USB sticks adapters, and only one of them consistently reproduces this issue. This might be “KDE vs. Hardware” issue, since OpenMandriva Cooker is pretty distant from Fedora 43.
Does this help per se? Probably not. But if you can get another wifi adapter, you can test it and issue may resolve itself. Linux in general is notoriously laborous in terms of hardware troubleshooting, the key price we pay consistently for decades.
