Whoopee, new nVidia proprietary driver to test!

I had to reinstall the system. Upon installing nvidia drivers, the working 378.13.3 is no longer available.

I could only install nvidia-current-378.13-2

Where is the 378.13-3?

That’s a question for Colin.

There are these.

Does this one work?

No. But I’m going to try the new one at testing repository …

Tested and working fine!

I don’t know quite what the issue is here I certainly did not remove 378.13-3 but I will check and if necessary rebuild it.
It’s seems that nvidia-latest is ok (3.81.4 iirc) though so there is a substitue. I will certainly look into it because 378.13-4 is I think supposed to be the long-lived version.
I will be away of holiday from Thursday for two weeks so I can’t promise to fix in the very near future. I will make a proxy vote for Adelson on kahinah.

Replying to my own stuff here. 378 has been superceded by 381 which is in to testing repo. If those of you that are using this driver and find it satisfactoy. Please comment on this thread. I need three yes it’s ok votes before can rekease it out of testing.

Collin,

3.81 is OK here.

Still trying to figure out what is kahinah …

It is this.

Thanks,

I’ll take a look on this

These packages have been moved to non-free-updates repo. Time to close this one.
