Viber and WhatsApp

Viber and WhatsApp are getting popular any ideas about those?

  • Viber
You can install it from here https://www.viber.com/products/linux/
Unfortunately Viber license does not allow to redistribute it by others, so it cannot be added to OpenMandriva repositories. Second Viber does not provide source code.

  • WhatsApp
Does not have any linux client. You can use web client https://web.whatsapp.com/

I checked Viber but I can not install it. urpmi viber.rpm
gives an error. better check.

Well it’s not urpmi fault. Blame VIber, whos not allow anyone to redistribute it.
Can you please post output here ?

ok. but You have to wait till Friday.

While some packages may have been installed, there were failures.

This means viber.rpm is compiled against old Qt5 framework. We can not do much except talk to viber release its sources.
