VBoxClient: the Virtualbox kernel service is not running

Every time I boot in to Lx 4 Alpha/Cooker This error pops up in system tray>Notifications:

VBoxClient: the Virtualbox kernel service is not running

Is this necessary? Does it serve any useful purpose? Most importantly, can we get rid of this before Alpha release or if not before Beta release?

This happens on our recent ISO’s in ‘Live’ and on installed systems. To me it seems completely unnecessary. Most users won’t install VirtualBox so this is just going to cause confusion.

Is this because virtualbox-guest-additions is installed by default? And because we have no way to tell dnf to remove it from hardware systems that don’t need it, can’t use it?
