User test request - video capture in VirtualBox

Hello,

  • OpenMandriva Lx version:
    Lx 3

  • Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):
    Any

  • Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):
    Is video capture working for you. (It is not for me). Is so what is your host OS, Lx 3, or other?
    Which version of VirtualBox are you using?

  • Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):
    With VM named “Demo” running run these commands (substitute name of one of your VM’s for Demo):

    $ VBoxManage controlvm Demo videocap on

    $ VBoxManage controlvm Demo videocap off

for me both result in (there is other output but not relevant):

Syntax error: Invalid parameter 'videocap'

According to VBox (on IRC) guys this indicates that the command to start video capture is not working.

The purpose or this test is to see if other OpenMandriva users are having the same issue or not.
