This issue is not fixed. you will need to manually remove the old kernel devel package before updating to the new one. And someone needs to list all the reasons why that is a major inconvenience.

Yes, I have been doing this to get the last kernel devel version…

I can say that this is inconvenient because it breaks updatings. I had 14 packages to update and it failed because of this problem.
