So we can close this thread when the packages move to main-updates repo.

Verified fixed here. Thanks @crisb.

We definitely want to get a blog post published when these packages go to Main-updates repo. Lx 3 users should appreciate having all these updated packages.

From what I can see LXQt desktop appears to be in better shape than it has been for a long while.

Thanks for your help on this.

OK, now we need one more vote in Kahinah to move these packages to Main-updates for our users.

Here is a draft proposal for a blog post about the upcoming updated packages. I do need some help with this. So if @crisb and @TPG or any other developers would look at this and mention any needed corrections, additions, or subtractions here that would be much appreciated.

Post-edit: At @rugyada’s suggestion I’m posting the current text of the draft proposal here so Y’all don’t need to go to the other link to read and help me correct this article:

"Good news for OpenMandriva Lx 3 users. While OpenMandriva Lx 4.0 in on the way, we keep taking care of OMLx 3.03. Developers crisb, itchka, and TPG have made available a long list of updated packages just released to our updates repositories after the normal testing.

Updated packages include Firefox 61.0.1, Thunderbird 52.9.0, Plasma 5.12.6, Quassel 0.12.5, Qt5 5.9.6, Libre Office 6.0.5, Mesa 18.1.3 and number of other updated KDE packages.

Please report any issues in one of the Support forums at https://forum3.openmandriva.org/. "

@ben79 Is fine. Just not forget about mesa-18.1.3 - I think it is a very important update

Thanks @AngryPenguin. That is exactly the kind of help I need. Consider it done.

Post-edit: And also at @rugyada’s suggestion I added your suggested sentence:

“While OpenMandriva Lx 4.0 in on the way, we keep taking care of OMLx 3.03.”

That was a good one too.
