OpenMandriva Lx release 26.02 (ROME) Rolling for x86_64
Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):
Hyprland 0.53.3
Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):
When i try to launch obs’s virtual camera, obs goes to 0mb ram usage and i can’t access the camera until after a full reboot.
when i try to run the flatpak obs i get the same problem.
Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):
i tried it on two laptops, both with v4l-utils installed (removed edid-decode since there was a conflict)
i’d assume the problem is with accessing the virtual cam.
Hi, command “akmods --force --verbose” in command line (*bash) to create new and actual modules … i don’t remember i get this for this site but is need to correctly work in webcam (in my case, i have artifact when any applications for cam are work). First clean old modules driver from kernel path. If not, i read is need to get v4l2 from git and create (*build) own driver to close properly kernel without any errors in log.
