UEFI and Secure Boot

Hello,

  • _OpenMandriva Lx version:_4.0

  • _Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):_KDE

  • _Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):_I have a Dell Latitude 7490 laptop with Windows 10 installed on it.
Boot mode is set to: UEFI: Secure Boot: ON
It’s a company pc and I can’t disable Secure Boot.
Is there a way to boot OpenMandrivaLx 4.0 live from an usb stick?

Regards,
Albert

Not that I’m aware of.

There is a proposal to get support for booting for secure boot working for OM Lx 4.1 but at this time it is a proposal not a goal or milestone.

need to go with grub 2.04 and a shim ( certificate required ) for building iso with option secure boot
and all deps
