I added graphics to Support but I still can’t use it. Forum tells me that it is restricted to Development Testing. Which is so wrong as to be, I dunno, something.
What I want to do is to not have to tag posts in Support forum with a support parent flat.
I want to be able to use in Support and Development Testing and Resources all the obvious logical tags one would use for support like graphics, audio, booting, installation, dnf, urpmi, updates, security, omlx-4, omlx-3. Perhaps there are a few others I’m forgetting. I want to see gone the useless ones like omlx-3.03 omlx-3.01 those were spins not releases. From a problem solving perspective they all use the same repositories and area all the same release which is omlx-3.
And at the moment I’m really feeling dumb because I can’t figure this out. I’m missing something. Because I keep making changes and they keep not doing what I want.
Is what is wrong that I’m equating what Forum I want with a Tag Group. I think if I put the tags I want in the Tag Group Support then I should be able to use exactly those tags in the Support Forum. Is this wrong?
Post-edit: Also I don’t see anything on that Tag Groups page where it restricts certain tags from certain forums but that is clearly happening.
Things like this one. So who thinks we won’t need to discuss audio Problems in Support forum? How does this happen?
