Shutdown hanging

after todays updates shutdown hangs it takes ages to shutdown,I know of a workaround go to logout on the menu select logout then when logout comes up go to the left side and select the shutdown button from there it shuts down fast
also my wireless mouse hangs at boot I have to unplug it and plug it back in

[/quote]

last night I tested this operating system until the small hours to see what was causing shutdown hang.it apprears if I install dark breeze thats what causes the shutdown problem has anyone else noticed this.I have been running on breeze all day with no problems
regards Ron

Hi Ron, I’ll test, dark Breeze is a kde theme, right?

yes raphael its a kde theme in system setting

I changed the theme but did not see differences.
What happens if you write from konsole

/bin/systemctl poweroff

Is it quick?

yes when I put the code in terminal it shuts down in a couple of seconds and thats with dark breeze now it is taking a long time tp boot up the splash screen with the popies stats off dull in colour then gets brighter before booting

heres some more info for you

not sure if this will help

I hope @TPG can come and see, he knows well systemd…

ok mate

Hi,

according to your systemd-analyze:
12.535s dev-disk-by\x2duuid-29effc33\x2d6651\x2d4908

It seems like your disk is taking too much time on mounting. Can you umount it and force run fsck to clean potential errors.

ok TPG did that it says no errors.now sda has manjaro, sdb is media, sdc openmandriva, sdd sparky linux and sde is linux mint these are all seperate hard drives all installed uefi each disk has its own grub bootloader so I have no idea what is going on with this all other os boot ok only openmandriva is slow I have an idea its something to do with the swap partition.
