Release notes mentioning ROCm for rolling

Hello,

Requirements:

I have Searched the forum for my issue and found nothing related or helpful
I have checked the Resources category (Resources Index)
I have reviewed the Wiki for relevant information
I have read the the Release Notes and Errata

OpenMandriva Lx version:

OpenMandriva Lx release 26.02 (ROME) Rolling for znver1

Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):

KDE6

Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):

Trying to install ROCm or other method for AI image generation

Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):

radeon 9060 XT

In the release notes I read that ROCm support was added for rome rolling but if I type rocminfo I don’t get anything. Trying to get image generation to work on my system with AMD card using a tool like krita or confyUI. Unfortunately even the appimage for krita seems to require installing a bunch of stuff that all fails without changing the python version with penv and the altinstall does not need to work properly on mandriva. Is there a particular package that has this? I do see one called AMD support for alpaca and installed it with opaca, but you can’t use it to generate images yet and I can’t figure out how to tell if it actually uses the GPU or not. And if I need to install ROCm from the AMD site download which version is going to work best with rome? Apparently it is very finicky. Or is there some other way someone has managed on openmandriva?

I am looking here and so far have not found that. Where is that?

Edit: I do not know much at all about ROCm but it looks like something you would be better off talking to developers about. A dev might see your post here but you would it would have a better chance of that at OM-Chat.
