Raspberry pi 4 software instalation help

Hello,

Can someone help with instalation OpenMandriva-Lx-pi4b-rolling-2305.img.xz or pi4b.img.xz or newer softwareon on Raspberry pi 4B 8GB ?

After instalation using BalenaEtcher or Raspberry Pi imager I get message: This board requires newest software and diagnostic screen and loop reboot.

I try to find help on Raspberry pi forum but from moderator I got answer :”Best option is wait for the developers to release a newer image.”

I can’t find newer software for RPI4 than this: OpenMandriva-Lx-pi4b-rolling-2305.img.xz

I have Searched the forum for my issue and found nothing related or helpful
I have checked the Resources category (Resources Index)

This is more appropriate for the Development > Development Testing topic since we don’t distribute aarch64 images in the same way. @bero is probably going to have to start new builds of that image, or direct you towards whatever image would replace it.

Hi. Thanks for reply. I only want to install openmadriva on RPI4B 8GB and I don’t know how and it is posible at all?

So I have to wait for @bero

It will take a little longer, because we’ve made some changes to the image builder, the Pi 4 support files need to be adjusted to match the new partitioning code etc. and I currently don’t have a Pi 4 to test with – but I can probably get you an untested image that may or may not work soon.

I’m hoping we’ll have a working Pi 400 (nearly identical) image in time for FOSDEM (January 31) at latest.

Thanks bero for help. There is no problem to try untested image if I can help in this way. I have brand new SD card and msata SDD to try. I’ll wait politely for image:)
