Hello,
I have a problem with installation clamtk package.

OpenMandriva Lx version:

OpenMandriva Lx release 25.12 (ROME) Rolling for x86_64)

Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):
GNOME

Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):

Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):
Problem: package clamtk-6.18-1.noarch from rolling-x86_64-extra requires perl(Gtk3), but none of the providers can be installed

  • conflicting requests
  • nothing provides perl(Glib) >= 1.302.0-6 needed by perl-Gtk3-0.37.0-2.noarch from rolling-x86_64*

Welcome @Paul696 to the OpenMandriva Forum and community.

It probably needs to be rebuilt.

How do I do this? Sorry, but I’m not very familiar with rpm-based systems.

clamtk won’t rebuild at present. You could file a package upgrade request here.

Defences Down! ClamTk is No Longer Maintained

No longer maintained.

It is unlikely anyone wants to try to maintain a package abandoned upstream. IMO the dependencies for clamtk are so far out of date it would be to much work to fix this.

I wish I could do more but I do not know enough. This would likely require someone to write a whole new package and I am the wrong person for that.
