so I hopped over to Open Mandriva 6.0 Rock here. I heard about OM from controversy in social media. It’s working OK so far except for a question I’ll post elsewhere here. I was very surprised that my name was available on this forum.

Welcome Steve! Wait, there’s OM controversy in social media? I have exactly zero social media accounts (unless you count forums as social media), but I can perhaps imagine the controversy:
“Waaaah, waaaah, those big meanies that use OM are soooo not woke and soooo reality-based; it’s not fair and I am offended beyond compare. Won’t somebody please cancel them now?”
