Hello,
_OpenMandriva Lx version: ROME
_Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…): KDE PLASMA 6
_Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):
Trying to run powertop --auto-tune to run and get it’s settings to stick. I’ve gotten 2 different errors.
One is - DevFreq not enabled.
The other is - powertop modprobe cpufreq_stats failedLoaded 0 prior measurements
I kept getting the “Defreq not eneabled” error before rebooting after I ran
“sudo powertop --calibrate”
After I rebooted, I kept getting the second error.
Relevant information (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):
I’m on a Dell Latitude 5520 with an intel i5 1135g7.

you should use intel-pstate and cpupower , powertop is for older CPU before skylake

I don’t see it either. It turns out it is named intel_pstate and that is missing as well. I am not sure, but is this not included in the kernel itself?

I went and enabled it in the grub.cfg i think it should be working now. How do i calibrate my battery usage time? How can I check to see if intel_pstate is actually being used?
