OpenMandriva Lx 2.3 test .iso's

Colin Close has provided us some new .iso’s based on OM 2014 repositories.

Here are the links for the testing version of OpenMandriva Lx 2.3 aka OpenMandriva Lx 2014.3

x86_64
i586

Has been tested to boot from flashdrive and boot in EFI environment. These are test .iso’s for possible future release. Currently graphics are from “The Scion” aka OM Lx 2014.2. If response is positive it is my understanding that rugyada will provide new and wonderful graphics for official release.

We await your feedback. Post results in this thread.

Installed x86_64 ISO in Virtualbox.

System looks in a rather good shape, @luca has confirmed also for i586.

I get these sha1sums:

4c9aa2144d8da3e6f7043a3b5e0f93070baa562b  OpenMandrivaLx.2014.3-devtest-KDE4.x86_64.iso
bfa53b479fbef5855217fea98e8cf114328def03  OpenMandrivaLx.2014.3-devtest-KDE4.i586.iso

Are they correct?

I have these (x86_64)

$ md5sum OpenMandrivaLx.2014.3-devtest-KDE4.x86_64.iso
ce8d5ac80632e4e784e27ab52085c786  OpenMandrivaLx.2014.3-devtest-KDE4.x86_64.iso

.

$ sha1sum OpenMandrivaLx.2014.3-devtest-KDE4.x86_64.iso

There may be no way to know. Colin is doing these .iso’s locally not on ABF and he doesn’t post checksums. I suppose the idea is that this is OK for testing…

At least, we can know if we get the same ISO :wink:

Good point JCL:

`$ md5sum OpenMandrivaLx.2014.3-devtest-KDE4.i586.iso

So far looks like matches.

Thanks. I will try asap.

Yes :wink:

Wonder what happened with this. Seems we never got to an official release. Were we going to do an official OM Lx 2.3?
