OM brand colors for Kate and KWrite

Make sure you don’t have any other theme in your download folder to confuse you when doing this one.
Open OMDark.theme
Click the Download Raw File button in the Top-Right or use Ctl+Shft+s to download to your PC.
Open KWrite > Settings > Configure KWrite
Go to Color Themes > Theme Editor > Import
Once imported, click Apply
OMDark should now show as a choice in the pull down menu for Kate and KWrite

I believe @rugyada said she uses kwrite, but she uses the OpenMandriva Light theme. It looks great and if I was in a bright lit office, I would use that, but my space is pretty low light, so I need a dark theme.

Its been awhile since I used it. But will take a look at it.

You are right though. We must theme all the things. Lol.

I also use KWrite but more to serve as a notepad as it ticks all the boxes for that purpose.

I used kwrite on KDE, and use featherpad on lxqt

I started with the colors in Konsole just as a novelty. I did not expect it to look great. I was wrong. So, I themed Plasma. It looked great. I themed Kate and KWrite and they look spectacular.

This is what it looks like when everything is themed with our colors. Behold!
