Hi guys, I come from Brazil and the first distro I saw working was Conectiva in 2004. My first distro was Kurumin. I’m very fond of Debian-based distros, but I recognize that if it hadn’t been for Conectiva, Mandrake and Mandriva, which made it easier for laypeople to use the system, there would have been no Ubuntu or Linux Mint.

Thank you for being patient with me and polite. Even though I have been a Linux user since 2006 and first encountered Linux in 2004, I consider myself a beginner in the Linux world.
I have translated several Wikipedia articles into my native language and also translated the Paintown and EasyRPG engines into Portuguese.
What I lack today is free time to contribute to GNU/Linux.
