Channels at irc.freenode.net are now bridged with matrix rooms:
#openmandriva <—> #oma:matrix.org
#openmandriva-cooker <—> #oma-cooker:matrix.org
Two new bots are here to spread the activity in this forum.
- Afsane on matrix/irc sends notifications for activity (with an excerpt if in matrix room). The amount and conditions (categories, tags etc) of notifications can be tuned.
- Omakuta, when someone mentions a commit/pull request/issue from one of our two organizations in github, writes a comment in github below this item that links back to the mentioning post in this forum.
And to be sure no post is missed, desktop push notifications has been added to the forum. So even when no tab is open containing the forum, notifications can be received anyway.
