So I did and put it in some spaghetti sauce. Served it over penne pasta. There’s still some in the fridge.

The meme was a joke but the pot of spaghetti sauce was not. It’s almost spicy enough to make your head sweat when you eat it.

Sauce piquante or more of a couvillion?

Regular spaghetti sauce. You can do meatballs, ground beef, Italian sausage, chicken, alligator pork sausage, smoked sausage, etc. You really are limited by your imagination. I grew up around a bunch of cajuns, a bunch of italians, a bunch of creoles. I don’t even do recipes for the most part. I just get in there and get busy.

Friday morning, I’ll do red beans and rice with smoked sausage.

My grandmother was 100% cajun. My grandfather was a Texan. I don’t cook cajun dishes often. Too many carbs. I like to smoke and grill meats.

We have these in the local grocery. They make good sausage. Pork & Alligator – Country Pleasin

I am gonna have to order some. Have not seen that at the grocery stores in my area.
