Multiple installation failures

I just got the new LX 3.0 installed after 5 attempts. Installation failed at the same spot 4 times, and finally I hit the install link with basic graphics, and it completed. Here are my specs:

welcome and thank you for your report.

Can you please file a bug in our bugzilla to help us solve problems and increase the quality of the distibution

Before, please run in konsole as root
omv-bug-report.sh
and join the generated file (in your home) to your bug. (that way the developers have the elements to answer )

thanks

It may not be a bug. It’s been 10 years since I ran Mandriva. I started out
with Mandrake 7.2 in 2001, and used it it exclusively until 2006, when I
found PCLOS. Then switched to Mint in 2009. I did find it to be a bit slow
in booting. Mint boots up in 7 seconds, and Mandriva took about 20 seconds.
I’m going to play with it awhile and see how everything pans out.
Appreciate your prompt reply.

Harry

hello and welcome,

Yes it is a known bug, and the developers are working hard to solve it (this is apparently a problem of the installer).
But you can install from live with an icon on screen , this way works.

the icon on the screen wouldnt work either.what I did was put open mandriva on a dvd and it installed.it is running in uefi mode as well great job folks
