Missing mirrors

Hello,

  • OpenMandriva Lx version:
    LX 3.0

  • Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):
    KDE4

  • Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):

Error is : A fatal error has occured. Could not find a mirror from mirrorlist …downloads.openmandriva.org/mirrord/openmandriva.3.0.x86_64.list."

  • Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):
MSI gaming Z97M motherboard, 4GB Ram, 4TB disk space total, usual DVD drive, T90 Nvidea graphics adapter… so there is no difficulty with resource allocation.

relevamt repositories are listed on openmandriva control GUI.

Had a look on the above lmirror link, and says page not found…My mirror access point is Canterbury University, Kent, Uk.
Any inkling as to the problem, ?? It has only recently gone ( within the last 4 months ) and only noticed this prob when went to do a full update and install some more utils…
Would be nice to be able to upload to this form screenshots taken…
Thanks.

Welcome @toerag

You should be able to upload screen-shots now.

One thing would be that Lx 3 was EOL a good while ago, more than 4 months.

As far as I know these are the only active mirrors at this time:

http://abf-downloads.openmandriva.org/
http://distro.ibiblio.org/openmandriva/

the other old mirrors were not updating so we removed them from the list for OM Lx 4, and 4.1. I have no clue about Lx 3.

In any event I don’t believe there will be any new packages for Lx 3 forthcoming. Could be wrong about this next bit but as near as I can tell it is no longer possible to build packages for Lx 3 in ABF.

Thanks. Have gone to lx4.2. Adore using dnf on command line, great distro.
