I am curious if anyone running Rock 6 has been able to get LXQT working. I would prefer it running through Wayland.
Anyone doing this? I have LXQT task installed, and I have the option for LXQT desktop and LXQT (wayland) but it is not working.

Solved. I needed to run lxqt-config-session BEFORE trying to log into a LXQT session.
I need to configure a bunch of stuff still but it is working. I am using kwin-wayland as the compositor / WM.
I run LXQT on rock, but use x11. I have an Nvidia card and it does not play well in Wayland.
There are several things missing for me. I do not have a network applets and I can’t seem to get the super key to activate the application menu.
Is there something you had to do to get that working?
Not really. I just used the 6.0 LXQT .iso.

Super key you have to add a short cut. So I have the application menu set to super, and application finder set to super+D. I also change the default app menu to the fancy one.
With LXQT on OmLx it is kind of a build from the base approach. Not many applications are installed by default.
