LiberaChat is not connecting, I have not yet figured out what I am doing wrong, or is LiberaChat broken?
Edit: Unless I am mistaken I can not register anything until irc.libera.chat connects so this really does seem broken.
Crap there is not /usr/local/share/certs/ca-root-nss.crt on my Cooker system, there is not even a /usr/local/share/certs/ directory.
So what is wrong here? I am not understanding something.
Edit: And I have tried with/without “Secure Connection (SSL)” enabled.
Edit-2: It kind of pisses me off that there is no error so I do not know what to correct.
I just tried on my Cooker VM and connected right away. No changes to the setup.
I don’t think there should be anything in usr/local… by default.
I am in Cooker hw system.
I got Libera.chat connected and working and my email updated and so on. Freenode does not seem to be all there, like they do not have their act together. I say forget Freenode.
But this won’t matter much as I am extremely skeptical that we will switch from Matrix.
I should add to this that as far as I know the Libera.chat channels are not being used by the OM contributor group. There is like 6 to 8 people there and no real conversation going on.
