I have been looking at kdeconnect and have found that:
a) it will allow one to control audio (stop, start. volume level, etc) from some audio players. I tried smplayer, vlc and amarok. It will also allow one to control the audio when playing a stream from google-chrome, but not firefox. Does ‘plasma-browser-integration’ not link to firefox.
b) when I receive a phone call on the cell phone or make one, kdeconnect stops the audio during the call. I think that this is a nice feature.
My cell phone is a Samsung running Android.
