Long time Red Hat/Fedora user about to jump to OM despite never trying it & not particularly caring for Mandrake when I last tried it in 2003 (or KDE). I only read about the whole ‘controversy’ today. All I can say is what a breath of fresh air, sign me up!
There has really been nowhere to go for Linux users who don’t subscribe to the new Left. Your userbase is going to really boom!
Also, I’m from South Australia if there are any Aussies about!
Anyway - I ended up installing and it’s going pretty good. Interestingly, a TP-Link Bluetooth dongle which failed to connect on both my previous Fedora and Mint installs (on this OptiPlex), is working perfectly on OM lol.
Happy to use as my daily driver, mainly for the community. Got Brave browser installed, and as long as I can get VirtualBox going, life is good.
