The kid came home and tried to run Sober and needed an update so we updated the flatpack and OM to the latest.
When clicking to run sober this message pops up
“Failed to initialize core functionality. Check your security settings”
Googling around I found these two pages with the exact same error and people were able to get this fixed.

Recently I updated dotfiles in archlinux from HyDe to end-4/dotfiles-hyprland. Now sober does not open with this problem:
flatpak run org.vinegarhq.Sober

/proc/self/exe: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4: no version information available (required by /proc/self/exe)

I tried to reinstall, register flatpak repair, other functions, tried to find various files, cleaned configs. Nothing helps. Maybe I still didn’t take something into account. Please help me fix this problem.

Since OpenMandriva “is not your distro” Im kind of at a loss on how to fix this. “ptrace” doesnt come up on a search with OM.
They fixed it by doing this to there system on arch.
root@neo ~
# cat /proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope

Not sure how to try this on OM
That will probably require a kernel config, and I don’t really see how that should be a default setting for the kernel when it pertains to the average user. Tracing processes is something a developer would do in very specific circumstances. Otherwise, dragons…
Sober fixed this on their end and Roblox is now working. Thanks for taking a look Zero.
