This is why we stress we are not other distros. The latest ROME has a more recent kernel. LMDE is not going to. It’s going to have debian stable’s kernel. Which is older. If they rolled up that function into something else or removed it entirely, it may take effort enable or patch it back in.
Okay. If I no get it to work then I will have to take the defeat and install another distro.
I give up for now.
I have tried several different things but no luck.
Back to Lmde for now.
