Installation of anaconda3-2025.12-2

Hi Everyone

I tried to install anaconda3-2025.12-2 on appstack virtual machine ( packaging server of appvolume).

I got this error message : ::error:: failed to extract packages

How can deal with this problem? how i fix it?

Hello and welcome.

We do not package anaconda in the distro repositories, we use DNF as our package manager.

Therefore it sounds as if you are attempting to install something from a script/installer provided by Anaconda themselves.

They have documentation for using their installer: Linux installer - Anaconda

As you are having issues with their installer you will have to contact them about issues with it as we have nothing to do with that.

Its possible, as anaconda are only for Fedora OS if remmamber, is same as DNF repo but this is another ecosystem. In Mandriva is Drake, but if You get ecosystem, maybe You got “her”. Try to implement a repo with her to drake or dnf but in terminal.

You are aware that OpenMandriva is a Linux distribution and Windows installers wont work?

This is beyond the scope of support here.

Try to write to devel of Fedora OS, they are on YouTube channel. maybe they know whot is need to adobt on else OS. If ecosystem are not enoght You dont install anything on any OS. But if You install Fedora OS in Virtual Box you see is she install or not. Try to asq on YT or try to find info from her fedoramagazine.org (tips: “this” is snake)

It is not that Anaconda package manager, if you read and opened the link in my first reply it is something completely different.

If she like You, she has install alone, but You do not see her ;)) This is not a Virus but … not exe file or You dont have instlled phyton. Phyton is a exe file. ;(((
