Install fails at desktop main py

I just started a build.

Edit: Build successful. ROME Plasma6 Wayland AMD CPU #4247
This ISO is untested but should work just fine.

As at 6/11/25 I have just installed Cooker and installed smoothly with no issues

This is kind of the standard warning about using Cooker:

Using Cooker is for a fact testing. Anyone testing any Linux operating system is going to encounter problems, that is the purpose of testing. One needs a willingness and ability to deal with problems.

Anyone installing Cooker is recommended to join the OpenMandriva Cooker Chat. You need to know when to and how to upgrade, and very importantly when not to upgrade. The Cooker Chat channel is the way to keep informed about what is going on.

I am as serious as a heart attack about this next part: Cooker is broken sometimes, we guarantee this. This is a natural part of the development process. Sometimes devs have to break things in order to upgrade certain things. If you know how to avoid upgrading your system when such breakage is likely you can use Cooker daily most of the time.

We always recommend that users using Cooker maintain at least one other stable system somewhere such as another partition.

Now that said we do encourage users that are able to use Cooker to report problems in the Cooker channel or in a bug report. Not “something broke my Cooker” but “this broke my Cooker” with enough information so someone else can either reproduce the problem or otherwise work on the problem. Like for instance logs.

Do I ever forget some of what I just wrote? Guess! But don’t worry other people will remind you “we need steps to reproduce or logs or something more than it’s broken”. I’ve been on both sides of that sentence.

The more people testing and the more hardware that gets tested on the better we can all make this distro.
