In om-welcome we have a module to get Brave browser properly installed in OpenMandriva.
You may prefer Brave Origin browser though. Here is the tutorial.
sudo dnf install brave-origin
You can now remove brave-browser if you so wish
sudo dnf remove brave-browser

Alternatively, you can bypass the brave-browser install and subsequently removal:
As root, edit file so to so
Install brave-origin from the usual om-welcome module
Ignore the error message as you can see in console brave-origin installation completed correctly
