Maybe OEMDRV disk is working here?
OpenMandriva uses Calamares installer. Red Hat and Fedora use Anaconda installer. They are not the same. I don’t know anything about either of the tools you mention.
Post-edit: With OpenMandriva Lx ISO’s it is possible to upgrade or install a .rpm package after you boot to ‘Live’ mode. I do not know of any way to do this before booting to ‘Live’.
