It is highly recommended for those new to Linux to learn how things work. There are a number of Tutorials available for free on the Internet. I like this one but there are others. The one my link point to is free though.

I do wish OpenMandriva had better distro specific documentation. Maybe we’ll get there some time in the near future.

This is also free and a great resource. Of course you can by his book if you want to.

The second link is also useful for others (not only beginners) because it recalls forgotten and rarely used commands. :wink:
