hello, i was wondering if the gnome spin had some znver isos (the amd optimized ones)
there is another thread asking that but i noticed that links in abf are all expired
it would be nice considering i have a full amd build ![]()

We can get a build started soon. Can you specify which release you are asking for?
i was asking if there was this one
OMLx 6.0 Plasma AMD CPU (newer than 2017)
but for the gnome spin
i noticed there were builds but are all expired ![]()
I asked the others about it, and there isn’t anyone to test it, currently. Someone would have to install the Cooker version and test it on their hardware.
well, technically i could also test the rock version of it and report, if you guys feel like giving me a download ![]()
if not it’s no problem of course, i was just curious as i have a full amd system…
That’s not how we do things. All testing is done in Cooker first.
Normally, testing of anything new is done in the Cooker repository, then once it is stable enough it is moved to Rolling or ROME, and when things feel great and even more so stable for a fixed release, ROCK gets a new version.
KDE Plasma is currently the flagship for the distro, so I don’t think there is much focus on a Gnome spin. The ISO would need to be built for Cooker, not ROCK, for it to be tested then moved into ROME repos. Maybe perhaps one day it could become a release on the ROCK version.
You’re right, it’s ok
I will wait then ![]()
