Flatpak applications display corrupted

OpenMandriva Lx version:

OpenMandriva Lx release 25.12 (ROME) Rolling for x86_64

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Arrow Lake-S [Intel Graphics] (rev 06)
04:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Battlemage G21 [Arc B580]

Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):

KDE (happens on both wayland and x11)

Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):

Flatpak applications, such as flatseal and handbrake, display corrupted text or solid colours after a while

Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):

irixium kde/gtk colours/themes, if there’s anything else that could be helpful, please let me know

Your best bet will be to get assistance from the authors of the application flatpak, or flatpak/flathub:

Debian ### Linux distribution version 12 (kernel 6.1.0-16-amd64) ### What architecture are you using? x86_64 ### How to reproduce 1. Install and/or run any libadwaita app 2. See problem ### Expected Behavior Display and work normally ### Actual Behavior They have graphical issues, with most of the interface invisible and some elements appearing when hovered over with the mouse cursor. When you click on it, the entire system (except for mouse cursor) freezes and in a few seconds the app crashes and the system unfreezes. ### Additional Information Happening to all libadwaita apps on Flatpak. libadwaita apps installed from other sources work normally. I even reinstalled Flatpak entirely, with all the apps and runtimes, but the issue persisted. The computer is a laptop with Intel Core i3-370M, no dedicated GPU. We are unable to support or fix Flatpaks as they are self contained.

Interesting. That seems to be the issue, I’ll follow that issue when I get back to my computer.

First:

check both application from system repository. Flatseal is available in main repository while handbrake in restricted repository.

Install and check if problem is still available.

If is still available then problem is on OM side, driver side or hardware. If not, then problem is with Flatpak or flatpak releated.

Remember we recommend using flatpak only if the desired application isn’t in the system repositories or isn’t fully functional. Otherwise, rely on the system repository.

Not positive, because it doesn’t happen right away. It does seem to be flatpak specific, one fix they gave seems to work for bottles
