I read that Mandriva is a great Linux for Windows users so I recommended it to a friend, he asked me if it would be compatible with a program he uses called Eagle CAD which is for circuit building, he said that these were the specifications needed to run the program:
Linux based on kernel 2.6 for Intel computers, X11 with a minimum color depth of 8 bpp, libssl.so.1.0.0 and libcrypto.so.1.0.0. For the 64-bit version a 64 bit operating system is required and libc.so.6 with sub version GLIBC_2.14 or higher.
I don’t know much about Linux so I I figured I’d ask here.
