OpenMandriva Lx version:

OpenMandriva Lx release 26.02 (ROME) Rolling for znver1

Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):

Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):
DNF fails to sync the rolling-znver1-main repo with a 404 on the metadata file, while an x86_64 machine on the same Rolling channel updates fine. This appears to be a znver1-specific build/publish issue upstream, not a local config or single-mirror problem. Interestingly, znver1 Restricted is working, but Main isn’t.

Looks like mirrors metadata to refresh
Please run
sudo dnf clean all;dnf clean all

then try again distro-sync.

I tried it again just now and still no dice.

Welcome @HazedZealot We are happy to see you here.

Here is the command I use to dsync.

sudo dnf clean all ; dnf clean all ; sudo dnf distro-sync --refresh --allowerasing 2>&1 | tee dsync-log.txt

It will clean the cache and also give you a log file in your ~/ folder.

I get the same thing right now. The mirrors are syncing. The problem is not on your end.

Over an hour and I still error out on Main. I will check on cooker to see if they are working on something.

IMO it’s expected that mirrors, given the sad facts, take more time than the usual.

I was also working with a friend this morning to get his new OpenMandriva system up when this happened to him. We ended up uncommenting the mirrorlist and fastestmirror options in openmandriva-rolling-znver1.repo. One or more of the non-defaulted mirrors must have gotten the sync, which allowed the update to work for us.

Remember to make a backup of /etc/yum.repos.d directory before edit the repos file.

Wait, moment
console returns Status code: 404 for http: [...] but looks like the transaction will finish.

Regardless of the check to the multiple mirrors options failing.
So imo this may mean that just some mirrors may be not in sync, or whatever is the issue on their side, but it won’t prevent the update.

Ok, we’ll investigate further.
