Conflicting pagkage lib64svt-av1_0

OpenMandriva Lx version:

OpenMandriva Lx 26.02 (ROME) Rolling

Linux 6.19.0-desktop-1omv2690

Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…):

KDE Plasma 6.5.5

Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):

When running install or update, getting warning of conflicting package.

sudo dnf clean all ; sudo dnf dsync --allowerasing -x kernel-desktop[sudo]

Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):

I’m not sure if something I did caused this, I’d have to start over from scratch. Installed this image:

OpenMandrivaLx.rolling-snapshot.20260213.4407-plasma6wayland.znver1.iso (Raw CD image, 3.2 GiB)

After it finished, I used the GUI distro sync tool and even before it started updating it gave me warning of the conflict.

That package is being skipped in order to keep the existing compatible package. The new package was moved to rolling repos to soon, perhaps someone made a mistake. This can be ignored, this is dnf dsync doing what it should do.

My understanding is that devs are working to upgrade some other packages to work with this newer package. This will probably happen with the next major ROME upgrade.

An update on the. @bero today published again the existing lib64svt-av1_0-2.3.0 package to rolling main repo so this error should disappear from users dnf dsync dialog. The newer, for now useless, package is in rolling main testing repo.
