Configuring wifi with manual IP4 settings cannot be saved in first round

Hello,

  • _OpenMandriva Lx version:_cooker

  • Desktop environment (KDE, LXQT…): Plasma

  • Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):
After installation I try to configure the wifi and set its parameters (IPV4-adress, DNS-servers, gateway) manually. Once I venture into that, the button to “Save” remains grayed out whatever I do.
When I abort this, restart configring the wifi, and leave it all default (Automatically) then I can save the config (and the wifi works) and then I change change to manual settings and apply

  • Relevant informations (hardware involved, software version, logs or output…):

Hello,
from where exactly are you trying to configure the network device? a lot of people including me sometimes use deprecated tools to configure the interfaces; OM uses NetworkManager for configuration so you might want to trying nmcli or nmcli-tui, if you are doing it from GUI, then I need to know what tool are you using. if its just KDE plasma what version? and is your user part of the network group?

I used the facility provided by OM-Welcome- Configuration. And the OM version and Plasma are the ones involved in the lates cooker ISO I found.
